Bill Hedrick for Congress

POSTPONED: Cast your vote right now and help me win $2500

Rep. Nadler's office called this morning and stated that due to circumstances the contest was being put temporarily on hold. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you to those who had already donated - we will discuss making sure those donations are included when the contest reopens. Thank you again for all your support!

Progressive Rep. Jerry Nadler is donating $2500 to the progressive candidate for Congress who can earn the most votes from supporters. Your donation of just $1 right now can turn $1 into $2500!

The rules:

  • There are 5 progressive candidates for Congress on the ActBlue page.

  • The candidate who gets the most "votes" (in the form of online contributions) wins $2,500 from Jerry's PAC.
  • A vote is a donation, so that means a $1 donation is the same as a $1,000 donation-- although only one vote per e-mail address counts.
On the other hand... Congressman Nadler understands the realpolitik of getting elected to office and he wants to encourage some big money contributions too, so he's offering a runner-up contribution of $1,000 for the candidate who winds up with the biggest total contribution.

The contest will be open until Saturday, March 20 and the winners will be announced Saturday, at Crooks and Liars, Digby's Hullabaloo and DownWithTyranny.

Right now I'm in the lead, but if we want to stay there and win that $2500 we need your help! Donate $1 now!
