Bill Hedrick for Congress

Thank you Progressive Change Campaign Committee

From the PCCC:

We just checked in with our top progressive candidates of 2010 and all 3 of them are within $8,000 of their goal for midnight's fundraising deadline!

Can you can chip in $3 to them today? Media will report on their momentum tomorrow, so every dollar really helps these progressives a lot.

(If you can afford it, click here to donate $6.)

Thanks! -- Stephanie

Bold Progressives 2010

Dear [name removed],

Have you been bombarded with fundraising emails from the Democratic Party (and folks like James Carville) telling you about urgent fundraising deadlines this week?

If so, we want you to know you have a choice: You can give to generic Democrats -- or you can target your money to progressive Democrats by supporting the PCCC and our endorsed 2010 candidates.

Here are our top 3 endorsed candidates -- all of whom support a strong public option and real Wall Street reform:

  • David Segal (RI-1) is one of the most effective, progressive state legislators in the nation. He passed multiple laws cracking down on Wall Street banks and would fill Patrick Kennedy's open House seat if elected. Donate.

  • Ann McLane Kuster (NH-2) led grassroots efforts on behalf of reproductive rights and has been a vocal proponent of cracking down on Wall Street and insurance companies. Her primary opponent is Katrina Swett, national co-chair of Joe Lieberman's 2004 presidential campaign. Donate.

  • Bill Hedrick (CA-44) was a teacher for over 20 years -- and as head of the local teacher's union was a fighter for workers. He is campaigning hard on Wall Street reform -- including cracking down on credit card abuses and ending "too big to fail." Donate.

The media will look at these candidates' June 30 fundraising numbers as a sign of their momentum. Every dollar raised this week goes a long way.

Click here to donate $3 to each of our top 3 endorsed candidates.

Thanks for being a bold progressive,

-- Stephanie Taylor, Adam Green, Aaron Swartz, Forrest Brown, and the PCCC team
