Bill Hedrick on IraqWhen I decided to run for Congress in 2007, it was due to my concern about then-President Bush's Iraq policy - one that Ken Calvert never disagreed with or diverted from in any way. The occupation of Iraq is not an academic argument for my family - we are a military family. I have four children in the military, two sons and two daughters-in-law. Between the four of them they have nine deployments to Iraq. As I write this, my oldest son, Adam, and his wife Natalie are serving their third deployments just south of Baghdad. President Obama has put forth a plan to withdraw from Iraq. This is a plan I wholeheartedly support, and for me and my family, the sooner the better. |

Bill Hedrick has spent his entire adult life teaching our children, advocating for teachers, and managing our schools. For over twenty years, he's served our community on the Corona-Norco school board. He and Beth have raised five children in our community - including two who have served in Iraq.
Bill's always demanded accountability in our schools - and it's time to demand accountability from Washington, D.C. In Congress, Bill Hedrick will fight to save and create jobs, cut government waste, invest in our infrastructure, and ensure our children have opportunities to succeed.
