Stated Sierra Club San Gorgonio Chapter Chair, Rick Estes, “We are very pleased to announce…that the Sierra Club officially endorses Bill Hedrick. We are confident that Bill will continue work to protect California’s environment, for our families and for our future." Said Hedrick, “I am proud to have earned the endorsement of the Sierra Club. It is an honor to have my work on behalf of the environment recognized by this prestigious organization. Hedrick continued, “My opponent has supported offshore oil drilling near Orange County beaches and opposed funding to fight wildfires, but I will work to protect California’s pristine coastline by opposing any offshore drilling and provide local officials with the resources needed to prevent and stop wildfires. We must preserve our air, water, and natural environment. It is the legacy we leave for our children and grandchildren.” For more information, visit: Bill Hedrick has been a public school teacher for 35 years and, as a member of the Corona-Norco Board of Education, has helped lead California’s 8th largest school district for 21 years, improving the education of 53,000 children. Bill is running again to fight waste and corruption and bring leadership we can trust to Washington. |
